[Buildbot-devel] Error on trying to start buildslave: "unexpected content" in .tac file

Hi all,

This morning I started setting up an old netbook as a Buildbot server for
some of my projects. To start with, I tried to configure a buildslave for
my forked Fluxbox repo on Gitlab.

The buildmaster started successfully. The buildslave process, however,
exited immediately with

unexpected content in '/home/localbuild/fluxbox/buildbot.tac'
invalid buildmaster directory '/home/localbuild/fluxbox'

What does this mean? I checked that Python could parse the .tac file, and
it could without issues. How can I find out *what* content is unexpected?

I'm using the Debian 8 (Jessie), FWIW, with Buildbot installed from the
Debian repository. Not sure if this could be a problem, Debian package
quality is usually pretty good.
