[Buildbot-devel] Next eight release name (was Re: 0.8.9p1 release)

Hi,

I must apologise for the delay: I had really unexpected personal things
to take care of, as a result I was mostly away from computer/coding.

Today/tomorrow I am going to cut a release (at least, do as much as I
can) according to 

    http://trac.buildbot.net/wiki/CuttingReleases

The main "problem" I hit for now is:

* eight is not a descendant of buildbot-0.8.9
* there was some work done (and tagged as 0.8.10-pre)

My intention is make 0.8.9p1 (as it's mostly bugfixes), however we can
continue with 0.8.10 (as there are some feature that are only specific
for eight.

In the former case I'd merge eight to buildbot-0.8.9 (but this is going
to be confusing), in the latter case there will be a gap between that
-pre and the actual release.

So the question is how should we name the next eight release? :)
