My current personal favorite is Mercurial (I use it on Foolscap[1] and love
it, although I'm the only committer right now). Zooko and I use Darcs at
work[2] extensively and I like a lot of things about it, but I'm frustrated
by the lack of in-repo branches and concise version identifiers. I agreed
with Dustin's suggestion to use Git for Buildbot because:

 1) I didn't know much about it
 2) Dustin (and several other people I respect) have recommended it

So it will be a learning experience for us all :-).
