That's how I feel about git, too -- and I knew that repo.or.cz (and
github, for that matter) makes it really easy for a bunch of folks to
collaborate.

To cut off the VC war before it starts: Brian, Zooko, and I are doing
most of the commits right now, so I think that what's most important
is what we're comfortable with.

It's always going to be a judgement call to pick a VC.  It was pretty
clear to me that darcs wasn't working, Brian had mentioned git, I know
git pretty well, and I feel like git has reached the point where it
will be the next ubiquitous VC system after Subversion, rather than hg
or bz or darcs or anything else.
