[Buildbot-devel] GSoC Update: Applications are in

 We received 24 applications for this season of the Google Summer of Code!

There are a few projects focusing on the core Python codebase, which
will need a mentor reasonably familiar with that code.  However, there
are several strong proposals to make Buildbot compatible with Python
3, which will require a mentor familiar with Python but not
necessarily with Buildbot's code.  We also have a number of
JavaScript-only proposals, which again don't require familiarity with
Buildbot's Python code (but do require familiarity with AngularJS,
CoffeeScript, and several other common Node tools).

If you're not already a mentor, and would like to have a look at the
applications and maybe even mentor one (and are someone other devs
will recognize from this list or the irc channel), there's still time!
