That is awesome.  I’ve implemented a declarative approach to builder config, as well, but with the config living outside of the project.  There are plusses and minuses to that approach, but the thing that’s stopped me from exploring putting the config in the git repo is not knowing how to dynamically build the steps.  Definitely going to give this a look!
