Sorry, I meant to keep typing before I sent that :)

We have a number of great proposals this year, and Google may not
offer us enough slots for all of them -- so even a strong proposal may
not be accepted.  I just want to be sure you're not surprised if that
happens, without saying whether it will or won't happen.
