[Buildbot-devel] Buildbot and Trac/Bloodhound?

I've just started getting into buildbot and I've just managed to set
up my first master+slave and connect a git repo to trigger automatic
builds. Very, very nice. And more a pleasurable experience than with
the other CI I've tried--largely because of the textual configuration
of buildbot.

Next I thought I'd start looking at connecting Trac/Bloodhound.
AFAICS the connection buidbot -> Trac is straight forward by rewriting
ticket numbers in the WebStatus. I haven't found much in the other
direction though. The suggestion to just put a link in the Trac
navbar[1] is a bit of a disappointment since it's just a bare minimum
and much more would be possible. I did find the Trac Buildbot
Integration plugin[2], but it seems to use the XMLRPC interface which
I understand has been removed.

There is a plugin for redmine that seems to do pretty what I'd like to
have for Trac: http://www.redmine.org/plugins/redmine_buildbot
(Unfortunately switching to redmine isn't an option for me.)

Is this it, or have I missed something significant in my searching the
web?

Most software today is very much like an Egyptian pyramid with
millions of bricks piled on top of each other, with no structural
integrity, but just done by brute force and thousands of slaves.
