Cool, I'm impressed!

I'd like to get this merged.  One thing that has been making fixes to
words.py a lot harder is that it has no tests.  So I'd like to see a
test suite that exercises this new code.  Similarly, it will need some
documentation, and also the license header from the top of other
Buildbot files should be in this one, too.
