Yeah, I got a bit busy those weeks, sorry. I have some more fixes on the
pipe, I need to squash them, and reorganize to make them more clear.

There is only one commit that is experimental, and marked [RFC]. This commit
is changing how the forced-build system is taking parameters. I find the
current way inconvenient, and thus want to see it evolve. I will post
another merge request, and a mail that describes our way of doing
forced-build, for you to have more background.

For the rest of the commits, they are small fixes, and customizability that
are pretty independant from each other.
