The numbering is a bit odd, I'll admit.  At the moment, the 0 is
superfluous, the 8 indicates major (and potentially
difficult-to-upgrade-over) changes, and the 4/5 just enumerates
releases within that, each of which have incremental improvements.  If
you look at the roadmap on Trac, you'll see that 0.9.x and 0.10.x
(which will probably be known as 1.x.0) have planned characteristics
that are not something we can get to in a single release.

That would be great - pull requests let all of the potential
