[Buildbot-devel] 0.8.1 tarballs missing docs and contrib?

Hi,

I am in the process of attempting to package Buildbot 0.8.1 in a deb (PPA)
and noticed that the 0.8.1 release tarballs (neither master nor slave) no
longer contain a doc/ directory nor a large chunk of the contrib/ directory.

I see on github that the split between master and slave has left the doc and
contrib directories living a level above the master and slave sections. How
are they intended to be released?
