I'm interested in that too (see previous mail about caching) and 
http-push/comet should be easy enough to at least concept-proof with 
twisted. If work is begun, be sure to create and accept tickets to avoid 
work-duplication, ok?

(I will look at Athena too, but that seems to be integrated/built on top 
of Nevow, which is a dep I'm not sure everyone wants to bring in at this 
point. That's a separate discussion.)
