[Buildbot-devel] How many VCS does buildbot support?

I'm a newbie on here and I thought I'd say Hi and offer a
suggestion/question on this topic.

I've installed buildbot on a client's site and I had to patch it to
work with their SourceSafe repository (I know! - I couldn't believe
that anybody still uses VSS). So far its working great.

Would it be a good idea (or even possible) to split the VCS interface
code out into some sort of plugin system - interested parties could
handle integration with less popular VCS systems without affecting the
trunk?

Jon.
