[Buildbot-devel] Help with setting up a buildbot slave

Well then. If John has added your slave to his buildbot config, and it 
shows up as connected on his buildbot site, you should be all set. Your 
slave will do as it's told by the master, including creatnig a clone, etc.

I get the feeling I missed the problem here? :)
