[Buildbot-devel] MailNotifier doesn't fire

You haven't mentioned if you have verified that you can sent mail from the machine the build master is running on.
If not I would suggest testing that you can connect to the default SMTP server, 'telnet localhost 25'. Then try sending an email to the email address in extraRecipients as the user that the build master runs on, via the command line 'mail christian.unger at mac.com'.
