Hope its not too late, here's my wish list for 1.0.

+1 to a sql database (of any flavour!) to store information like 
build times, build status. This allows after-the-fact mining of data 
to roll-your-own dashboard display, and "sexy graphs" :-) ! This also 
allows having a different machine run some web interface with status 
information on it *without* having to expose the build master (and by 
association all build slaves) to possible contact from the outside

+1 to being able to monitor pending jobs queued for a slave, and even 
delete pending jobs. http://buildbot.net/trac/ticket/99

+1 Load balance queued jobs across a pool of slaves.

Automatically resubmitting a failed job. There are certain cases 
where a failed job should only be resubmitted after human 
intervention - a broken compile for example. However there are other 
cases where a failed job should be automatically requeued and 
scheduled out to the next available slave... for example, if a slave 
crashed it would be good to requeue that crashed job to run on 
another slave, rather then just dropping that job on the floor and 
requiring the human to notice and manually resubmit the job.
