IMHO this is something Buildbot shouldn't handle. Perhaps integrating  
with OS-level logging (eg, syslogd), but I don't think it should be re- 
inventing the wheel.

For us, this isn't a problem because we already depend on MSYS for  
building - but I like this idea.
