Hi list,
I re-worked the last 3 patches of my patch series to enhance the
WebStatus because some of the code was badly designed.  In particular,
the authentication was inextensible and had an embarrassing security
issue (upon authentication failure, it would print the login and
*password* of the failed attempt in the log of the buildmaster).

With these new patches, the authentication is made much more extensible.
I added as a 4th bonus patch a class to authenticate users with LDAP (I
needed this for my lab where we only use LDAP).  I'm not an expert with
LDAP so it took me a little while to figure out how things (seem to)
work but at least, it Works For Me.

I also improved the documentation and killed a couple of tyops I
introduced here and there.
