[Buildbot-devel] Running multiple versions of buildbot

Hello.  This is likely more of a python question than a buildbot one, 
but here goes anyway...

I am new to the world of buildbot, and am just starting to get my feet 
under me.  I have run into a few difficulties which I think are fixed in 
a later version.  We're currently running version 0.7.3 here.  I'd like 
to try 0.7.5, but as I don't want to break the existing system, I don't 
want to install the new version until I know it works.  Is there a way 
to get two versions of buildbot to work side by side?  I ask, because 
when I run the buildbot from the 0.7.5 tar which I downloaded, it still 
claims a version number of 0.7.3, which tells me it is going out to the 
system libraries rather than running the local files.  I imagine I need 
to fiddle with my paths, but I really don't know enough about python and 
buildbot to know where to go with this.

Can anyone help?
