Either I missed your original post, or you got some explainin' to do.
;-)  I read the first two patches and they look sensible and useful: I
have been wondering how I'm going to limit our BuildBot system to
running one build at a time on each slave, and it looks like you have
solved that problem nicely for me.

But I'm mystified what the last two patches are for.  I think you'd do
a better job of selling this one if you'd but some explanatory text in
the trac ticket.
