I took a quick look at the Mailman settings available to me.. it doesn't look
like there are any knobs to address this. We're kind of at the mercy of
sf.net's admins and whatever solutions they come up with for the site
overall.

I can remove messages from the sf.net archives, but it requires like three
clicks per message and takes a long time.

I agree it's really annoying :(.
