I mentioned this in IRC, but it probably bears repeating here:

As soon as we started accessing our buildbot behind an apache2 redirect,
stuff broke again, in the same way that it broke before this patch was
applied.  One of us wrestled with the apache configuration for an hour,
but was not able to un-break it.  So our solution was ultimately to
remove /s from the step names.
