Of course, from time to time, I forget to add it to the command line
and the bot blows up. :-)

I have no problem running CVS out of the buildbot on Windows -- is the
SVN executable in your %PATH%? That's all I had to do to get CVS to
work (I'm on XP btw). At some point during bringup I did run into the
path length limitation so, even though it appeared to be set in the
environment settings panel, it wasn't really. Could that be your
problem?
