 Yeah, I wasn't convinced yet that the issue is gone.  I think we're
 dealing with two separate issues.

 I want to leave it for a bit to see what the switch logs if it's more of
 the same or something else.  I brought the interface back up for the 2nd
 port on vm1.  igb1 is not up though.

 I want to reboot this machine.
