[users at bb.net] Using buildbot 0.9rc3 in production

Hello there,

I am looking at upgrading out buildbot instance to the Nine series, and I'm
running into some errors that seem rather fundamental, so I am fairly
certain the fault must lie with my configuration and not with the software.

I run the buildbot for the Julia language whose main instance is here
<https://build.julialang.org/>, and I've setup a 0.9rc3 instance with a
very similar configuration here <http://buildtest.e.ip.saba.us>.

The first question is, my buildbot worker instance seems to be
disconnecting immediately as soon as a build starts.  You can see this by
looking at the only build that is being attempted on the main buildbot
instance, it fails with the message:

My second question is, how do I explicitly assign individual users to a
"role" when using the GitHubAuth provider?  From what I understand, the
GitHubAuth provider does not provide the user's email yet, so I can't just
use the email address assigned within GitHub together with RolesFromEmail.

My third question is, the layout of Nine doesn't work very well on my
computer (Chrome 53 on a retina MacbookPro).  For example, I have to scroll
to the right to see the rightmost buttons in any of the main "content"
webpages, unless I "unpin" the menu on the left.  That's not such a huge
burden, but I fear many of the users that want to use the buildbot software
will be confused when they don't see the buttons on the right, is there a
way to disable this by making the "unpinned" behavior default?
