I wouldnt try to do that. It wont be worth the problems it could cause by having old build data conflict with new build data (the old build stuff would still be in your database!).

I would ask rhetorically: why do you actually care what the build number is :) 

But if you do care, then I would suggest either just renaming the builder to something else (that will effectively start over), or by starting your master fresh (create a new directory with your .tac and config and purge your database, giving you a fresh start).
