[devel at bb.net] 0.8.x?

Misha has updated us at the weekly meeting.  He should be able to pick up
the 0.8.x work in March, but could use some assistance.  So the offer
remains open to anyone using 0.8.x who wants to do the release mechanics
and handle merging any bugfixes that arise.  (but not necessarily fixing
reported bugs!)
