The idea is that, for new users, the behavior can be confusing. Let's see
how things work out in 0.9.0, and if the warning is bothersome, file a
bug. We can either remove the warning, or maybe make it only appear when
the *global* collapseRequests=True, or maybe just change that default.
At the moment, I mostly want this issue cleared out of the way quickly so
we can get to 0.9.0 sooner :)
