I think I can safely say we don't need more hardware -- we are finally
using most of the hardware we have, but there's plenty of capacity
remaining. We also have funds remaining to buy a Mac Mini.

Our only periodic cost is for the domain name. I'm currently paying
for that (it just renews with my others). It wouldn't be a bad idea
to start transferring that so that SFC pays for it, in case I'm hit by
a bus, but that's a separate conversation.

Recruiting people, and then supervising them, pose the problems with
paying for development work. When we tried this before, the available
funds were a little low - basically enough for piecework, which leaves
a burden on someone else to define the piece, measure progress, and so
on. Given enough funding, perhaps we could pay someone for, say, 10
hours of work per week on an ongoing basis, with the expectation that
they will perform basic project maintenance (bug wrangling, debugging,
review, making releases, metabuildbot upkeep, etc.) and spend the
remaining time hacking on the highest-priority bugs. One thing we
have now that we didn't before is the weekly meeting -- that would be
a good time for such a person to check in with the project, so their
work is visible and we can make an honest evaluation of whether we're
getting a fair deal.
