[Buildbot-devel] How do you stop a build that isn't there?

Odd problem with v0.8.8-1082-g1554b09 master / buildbot-0.8.7 slave:

On my buildbot at the moment, there are several builds which
both do and don't exist.  Their status color is white; their build page shows
a step running, but no 'Stop Build' button even though I'm logged in.
It's a real job, yet I can't stop it.

I restarted the master recently, and when I did, a build (number N)
that was in progress
vanished from the waterfall.  Maybe the ghost job is the new build N, who knows.

This is repeatable in the sense that I just restarted masters and slave,
and the ghost job got restarted, still in ghost state.

I guess I need to let it finish, since I can't kill it... it's not a
zombie, it's more like a polterjob!
