[Buildbot-devel] Passing properties to dependent builders

I think I was unclear before because I myself was confused!  I have since
solved this problem by just taking the build steps I was running as
dependent builders before and merging them with the depended-upon builders.
 In this way properties can be used, and I have the functionality I want.
 Thanks everybody for your help, but I found a solution which works for me,
is really simple, and doesn't even feel like a hack.  ;)
