[Buildbot-devel] 0.8.9p1 release

It seems that we have quite a few changes in eight that would

* help the "migration" to nine
* address eight specific problems (some things are gone in nine)

I propose to make a 0.8.9p1 release.  This will also help to

* understand who can really upload things to PyPI
* (since I volunteered to maintain eight) go through the procedure
  outlined in http://trac.buildbot.net/wiki/CuttingReleases

Opinions?  Objections?

As a side note, Debian (the distro I use) is going into 'freeze' on the
5th of November and it'd be nice if we have a better version of Buildbot
shipped with it (well, eventually shipped, that's it :))
