[Buildbot-devel] Practical limit to number of builders?

We did 172 yesterday.

Restarting the master is pretty slow, but it's the poor responsiveness
of the web UI (both client and server) that bugs users.

That, and how hard all those gitpollers are pounding our git ssh server...
