Every month or two, my buildbot master (v0.8.7p1-15-g4ed9634, about a year old) gets stuck somehow, and I have to restart it. This time, it was confused about whether slaves were online. I clearly should update to the latest, but I wonder... what's the longest a moderately complex installation usually goes before it gets confused?
