[Buildbot-devel] timeout und skip step

Hello,
is it possible to set a timeout and skip a step without waiting for the result?
is there a way to do this without changing the source of the buildbot?

What i would like to do is to set a reboot-step, after that the system restarts with another OS and another Slave.
I just want to execute the reboot-command and after 1-2 secs set the Step as SUCCESS and finish the Job.

Any help would be appreciated.
