GSoC 2014's window for mentoring organizations is about to open up[1]

There's room to participate at all levels with Buildbot: as a student
(if you're a student!), as a mentor - either technical or
administrative, and even as an org admin.

We have a nice page of potential projects set up[2].  Even if you
can't commit time over the summer, please have a look at some of the
projects coming up.

We've had the most success in the past with very well-defined tasks
that require almost no design work.  It's just asking too much of
students who are new to Buildbot to conceptualize and design a
solution to a complex problem.  If you can do some of that design work
for any of the proposed projects, even narrowing things down to a
punchlist of Trac issues for a student to work on, that would help
make the program more successful.

GSoC is probably the largest collaborative activity Buildbot
participates in, so we can't do it without you!
