 reset” that let it follow for longer than 10sec as long as
 it was still making some progress.

---AH, that is why it isn't working on one of my masters.  It pauses for a little while performing some setup operations.  I'll change my code to output something instead of being silent.



 
 But if it stops logging for 10sec, it will stop
 following and you could “tail -f twistd.log” if you want
 to continue to follow the progress.
