Indeed, this is something I'd like to see happen.
With the new messaging system, this is pretty easy to do in nine. This was
discussed first in #2954. I extracted the plan in
http://trac.buildbot.net/ticket/3086

This is a good story for the one who want to start hacking on nine UI.

Doing the same on eight is much more tricky, as there is no web based
messaging system.
