[Buildbot-devel] patches not applying in buildbot 0.8.8

Hi,

I just upgraded to buildbot 0.8.8 and our try jobs are no longer
applying patches on the slaves.  We're using the user/pass try
schedulers.

The patch shows up in the waterfall as expected, but the slave just
doesn't run patch at all.   We're using Repo() from
buildbot.steps.source as our source step.  Is there a step I missed in
the upgrade, perhaps, or could this be a regression?

Let me know if there's other info I can provide.  I downgraded the
master to 0.8.7p1 and things seem fine again.
