Have you considered opening RFP bugs and talking to the Debian
Javascript team to have them help out with getting the
dependencies packaged?

Having external dependencies bundled generally causes issues for
Debian's security team. I don't know how the js libraries are
used in nine, but I imagine this is the case for Buildbot as
well.
