[Buildbot-devel] LDAP authentication for WebStatus

Hi,

Is there a way to get WebStatus to authenticate from a LDAP server? I have
seen this old patch implementing exactly this:

but I could not find LDAPAuth neither in buildbot.status.web.auth nor in
authz etc.

>From the docs I can see that there's a way to do this using a reverse proxy
getting credentials from LDAP, and setting useHttpHeader=True.

So, this reverse proxy thing is the only way to do this now, or can I get
somehow WebStatus to authenticate directly from a LDAP server?
