We're experimenting with G+ for this sort of thing.

One advantage I see is that posts can be shared with a wider audience
than just list subscribers.  That's particularly useful here, where we
need input from folks more familiar with developing RIA's.

Historically, there hasn't been much discussion on this list, so I
think it's worthwhile to try.  At any rate, the discussion is public,
and you're welcome to reply here if you have something to add but no
Google account.
