[Buildbot-devel] BuildBot Restart command

I can not get BuildBot to restart with the restart command! I may have
interrupted a build taking place and can not get buildbot to restart!

After using the BuildBot restart command I get:


The buildmaster took more than 10 seconds to start, so we were unable to
confirm that it started correctly. Please 'tail twistd.log' and look for a
line that says 'configuration update complete' to verify correct startup.

twistd.log:
2012-11-05 10:53:09+0000 [-] Main loop terminated.
2012-11-05 10:53:09+0000 [-] Server Shut Down.

Trying the Buildbot reconfig command I get :

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'twistd.pid'

I need this fixed urgently, I am quite an inexperienced user with Buildbot.
