The keepalives have been fixed since 0.8.2 (partially on your
advice!), which would have that effect.  So Juan, this particular part
of the bug may be fixed in 0.8.6.  All the same, the fixing and
testing you did at PyCon is still quite valuable, so let's make sure
that gets in!
