Buildbot will be applying as a GSoC mentoring organization this year,
as we did last year. In fact, we're a little behind -- applications
opened yesterday (Monday). So we need some help.

First, the list of project ideas needs some updating! This is your
chance to highlight the project you've been thinking about. The ideas
page is at http://trac.buildbot.net/wiki/ProjectIdeas -- please add
any and all ideas, noting that adding an idea does not imply you will
be a mentor.

The second thing we need is mentors. Please contact me about this,
either with questions or to let me know you can mentor; on-list is
best, but private email's OK too. Here are a few resources that can
give you an idea what mentoring is about:
  http://en.flossmanuals.net/GSoCMentoring/what-makes-a-good-mentor/
  http://code.google.com/opensource/gsoc/2008/faqs.html#0.1_mentor_time
I would like to have both a primary mentor *and* a secondary mentor
for each student, so students can get the support they need without
burning out a mentor. I will be the administrator for the
organization, but will not be able to mentor this year.

In about a week, I'll collate the responses and submit the
organization's application.

Dustin
