[Buildbot-devel] Live log reading in browser

Hi there,

It doen't look like it's possible anymore to view step logs 'live' in the web browser. When I click on the link from the waterfall, it's hanging until the step is finished, and then, I get to see my full log. As if buildbot would have a lock there that is first released when the step is finished, unlocking the log and allowing me to see it.

I was used to another experience: Immediate returns and live appending of the log in the web page, and this really was a kick-ass feature !

Does this only happens to me ?

I am using a pretty recent version of buildbot. Not 0.8.7 but from few weeks before. And no, I cannot says when the behavior changed.
