[Buildbot-devel] Updated Debian packaging

Hi,
I've been setting up some new buildbot instances at my company and I
noticed both the Debian and Ubuntu packages were a little out of
date. I based my work on Thomas Herve's latest Ubuntu PPA packages
with the only real change being building separate buildbot and
buildbot-slave packages. They both seem to install and run fine on my
Ubuntu 10.04 systems but as I'm re-doing the configuration I haven't
yet run any builds through them.
I've created a forked repo on github from the last stable release of
buildbot (0.8.3p1) and placed all the Debian bits on a debian branch:
https://github.com/stsquad/buildbot/tree/debian
I've CC'ed the respective distro maintainers in case they want to take
the changes. It may even be simpler just to merge the debian directory
into the upstream?
To build the packages just checkout the branch and run:
git-buildpackage -sa -tc -rfakeroot -k${KEYID}
Hope this is useful,
Regards,
