Congratulations!

Yes, I think this would be a great GSoC project, because it degrades
gracefully.  If the student plans to re-implement the entire web
interface, and then reality intervenes and they only set up a JS
framework and reimplement, say, the build page -- that's still a win,
because we can use it in production and because we then have a
prototype for the other pages.  Cool!
