[Buildbot-devel] How does the Console View really work?

Looking at your waterfall, you're now getting changes (so assumedly the
SVNPoller is working, unless you're using buildbot sendchange to submit them
manually), and then you're using the Force Build button on the web page to
force builds. The console looks through the set of changes it knows about
(that column on the left in the waterfall), and then tries to find builds
that correspond to those changes. Since you're forcing builds (or in the
past, your nightly schedulers were), it successfully finds builds for those
changes, and thus lists them in the console.

Your console was not previously displaying any revisions because no
corresponding change items had been submitted to buildbot. (And once such
changes are submitted, will display builds that correspond to that change,
even if they weren't directly triggered by that change).
